THOMPSON, ROBERTSON HEADLINE THE 806 "SUPER 21" GRIDIRON PROSPECTS

All of a sudden, the 806 is now being looked at as a hotbed for big time Recruiting with players like Brenen Thompson and Sawyer Robertson getting major attention all over the Nation now with more players coming up the ranks that will garner more attention as well. The 806 roundtable assembled and came up with 21 super prospects that will lead the way and all can play Major DI or FCS football! Here is the list.
#1 BRENEN THOMPSON- SPEARMAN LYNX C/O 2022 ATH (21 offers)
Man, where did this come from, lol. Brenen has lived the real-life dream in the last five weeks as he has been offered 16 Division One Scholarships from schools like Alabama, Texas, Michigan and Auburn along with being invited to play in the most prestigious game for high schoolers in the nation; The Under Armour All-American Bowl. His tape is tremendous and he also has Olympic speed.. He is just getting warmed up..
#2 SAWYER ROBERTSON- CORONADO MUSTANGS, C/O 2021 QB (16 offers)
Sawyer had 16 offers in the bag from teams like USC and Florida State before Mike Leach came in and signed him to Mississippi State a couple of weeks back. He is currently the second-best Pro Style Quarterback in Texas and is one of the most accurate and aware quarterbacks playing right now in the Nation. He also can play some pretty good baseball and will be able to do that as well with the Bulldogs! Stay tuned as I got a feeling that Saywer will be playing on Sundays or playing baseball in the pro's!
#3 KOBIE MCKINZIE- LUBBOCK-COOPER PIRATES, C/O 2022 LB (13 offers)
Kobie is on a mission this season and will be leading the Pirates on the way to another deep run in the Texas High School Football Playoffs along with reclassifying into the 2021 class as he will be graduating early! He would have 30 offers if he didn't commit early to Oklahoma, but the Sooners know they got a great one in Kobie and he will be playing on Sundays, in my opinion.
#4 IZAIAH KELLEY- CORONADO MUSTANGS, C/O 2021 LB (5 offers)
Izaiah is a gem! He was truly a diamond in the rough as he started out at Wide Receiver for the Mustangs and due to a lot of receivers and a plethora of injuries for the Linebacking core of Coronado late in 2018, Kelley moved to Linebacker and the rest is history! He has five Division One offers so far and will end up a few more as the season begins. He will lay a shot on you in a hurry and can play anyone coming out of the backfield. He is a special talent and will make major noise on the next level as well!
#5 TJ STEELE- ESTACADO HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2021 ATH ( 4 offers)
TJ is electric and makes big plays in big games like his 4TD performance against Graham in the Area Round of the 2019 playoffs for Estacado. Steele is getting interest from a ton of schools and he has received three DI offers already. Be on the lookout for more as he is going to have another stellar season for Estacado.
#6 BEN MARCINKOWSKI- LUBBOCK-COOPER PIRATES, C/O 2021 TE (3 offers)
Ben is a very strong Tight End with great hands! I haven't seen him drop any balls that have came his way, and he also blocks just as good as lineman do! Ben has two offers from the Air Force and the Army and will garner more as the year rolls on! Expect to hear a lot about Ben from now on!
#7 TYRIN BRADLEY-MONTEREY HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2021 QB/DE (2 offers)
Tyrin has waited his turn patiently and now he will seize his opportunity! What other player in the 806 can throw a 65-yard bomb on offense and then turn around and sack the quarterback on the next possession? He can. A natural leader, and Coach Hutchinson will get the best out of him this season. More offers will be coming his way! 6'3" 250! WOW!
#8 DAVIN LEMMONS- AMARILLO HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2021 WR (2 offers)
Davin has been busting his hump and it has finally paid off with two Division One offers this week; one from Tulsa and one from UIW! Don't expect his work ethic or his offers to drop off anytime soon. One of the best route runners in Texas..Period!
#9 JAHID LATEEF- ESTACADO HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2022 OL (3 Offers)
Jahid is starting to catch fire and has gained the eyes of Tulsa already with an offer from the Golden Hurricanes. Latif really dominated at the West Texas Showcase and won the best overall Lineman! Be on the lookout for him to really blow up this season!
#10 KYLER JORDAN- LUBBOCK-COOPER HS, C/O 2022 DE,OLB (Illinois State Offer)
Kyler, to me, is the best Defensive Lineman in West Texas, easy! He has a very quick first step and will put some serious punishment on any quarterback or tailback in the process. Illinois State offered Kyler and he will have double-digit offers before he graduates in 2022.
#11 JACORY MOORING- MONTEREY HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2021 WR/TE (Kansas Offer)
Jacory is 6'6" and weighs 210 pounds! He is a great receiver to me but at the tight end position, he could be one of the greats to come out of the 806! This year will be big for Mooring as all eyes will be watching. Look for him to meet the challenge and go above-and-beyond!
#12 MAJOR EVERHART- TASCOSA REBELS, C/O 2022 TB (SFA Offer)
Major is next in the long line of players from Tascosa to go DI and make a major impact on the next level. He runs great on the outside and will run in between the tackles as well! He will be leaned on more this year as Joseph Plunk moves on to Texas Tech: Major will be fine with that and I expect a first team All-District spot coming for Everhart.
#13 MJ SINGLETON- MONTEREY HS, C/O 2021 WR/FS (2 offers)
Mj ran his way onto a lot of coaches evaluations and received an offer from Abilene Christian University. Singleton should have more of a role on offense and defense this season for Monterey and he will take advantage of his opportunities. Should be a great season coming for MJ.
#14 CHARLIE ROBINSON- CORONADO HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2021 LB
Charlie has been flying under the radar, and for no apparent reason! He is an exceptional Linebacker and an outstanding leader! I've also noticed Coach Parr has been using him at fullback and tailback too in certain packages. Folks, he's good at that too! Very humble, but an animal on the gridiron. Whoever lands Charlie will be happy they did. Solid!
#15 JADEN HILLIARD- MONTEREY HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2022 LB
Jaden will take off here pretty soon. He is the third-ranked Linebacker in Texas in his class so it won't be long before he gets to cooking Nationally. Very fast side-to-side on the field and takes command out there for the Plainsmen in the huddle. He will have a great season for Coach Hutchinson!
#16 JAY'LON DOBBINS- ESTACADO HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2021 QB
Jay'lon is 6'3" and 230lbs. His arm is electric and he can throw the entire route tree with deadly accuracy. He led the Matadors to an undefeated season for the first time since 1968 and is back for a huge Senior Season under Coach Cluley! Offers will be on the way for this young man.
#17 KADEN CARR- AMARILLO HS, C/O 2023 OL
Kaden is 6'5" 250 and a freshman for the Amarillo Sandies! He will be the next lineman to garner a plethora of offers from the 806. Don't say we didn't warn you guys as he is fierce on tape and a great finisher! Lookout!
#18 CHASE RODRIGUEZ- LUBBOCK-COOPER HS, C/O 2021 OL
Amazing to me that Chase doesn't have an offer yet, but his time is coming. Rodriguez really dominated at the West Texas Showcase and also repeated those dominating performances plenty of times in the season! The Pirates will have another big year and Chase will lead the way!
#19 JESS HOEL- ABERNATHY ANTELOPES, C/O 2022 QB/ATH
Jess can ball! Once he starts getting offers, he'll zoom up the list of top prospects. 1,500 total yards and 15 touchdowns last season as the QB2..Can you imagine what's going to happen with him at the QB1?? I'm very high on him and in a minute, the Region will be as well!
#20A GARRISON SMITHERMAN- LUBBOCK-COOPER HS, C/O 2021 LB
Garrison was catching steam and BAM, the Coronavirus happened. It really hurt him and a lot of other 2021 prospects as the camps have disappeared and there isn't any more extra places for a player like Garrison to shine at. He may not need any extra because he will have a great season this fall and should receive a couple of offers on the journey!
#20B DJ TATUM- TASCOSA HIGH SCHOOL, C/O 2021 CB/WR (Arkansas Baptist Offer)
DJ is intriguing to me because he can play multiple positions and is good at all of them. He has been on some huge visits and picked up an Offer from Arkansas Baptist! Very solid and quick-witted on the field, don't be surprised if he gets a couple of Division One offers this season!
