THE FILLIES PULL OFF THE UNTHINKABLE AND WIN THE 3A STATE TITLE

What a run this season was for the Fillies! A lot of pendants didn't have Shallowater make it out of the Regional Tournament but they did. Their defense was very scrappy and aggressive all playoffs and it paid off tremendously in their 54-49 overtime win over Huntington for the 3A title

Think about it: They finished the season 28-12 with some bad losses this season. But that's the beauty of basketball; if you find your groove and play together, anyone can win. Shallowater proved that this season as they secured their program's third title with this one being the most surprising. Congrats to the Filies and Coach Richardson for running the 3A Gauntlet and grabbing a title on the way.
