TASCOSA’S WHITE EARNS THREE DI OFFERS AS THE 806 CAMP SEASON HAS ARRIVED..

BRANDON HAS HEATED UP THIS SUMMER! EXPECT MORE OFFERS TO COME HIS WAY AS WELL (Jason Pearson)

WOW!!!! As a parent, their main dream is to see their child fulfill their dreams in whatever sport they desire. A bonus for any guardian is to see their child get an offer from a college to pay for their college while they play sports. Well, it’s happening in the 806 a lot more now and seems to be the norm from here on out. Tascosa’s Brandon White had two offers; from Kansas and Baylor before attending Texas A&M Commerce’s “Camp with Champs” this afternoon. White now has five DI offers as Arkansas, Tulane and Tulsa offered him at the camp after seeing his dynamic footwork, attention to detail, and speed…Like the 4.31 in the 40-Yard dash he ran today. I caught up with Brandon and asked him about his historic day and the season coming up for the Tascosa Rebels!

#1 How was the “Camp with Champs”?

BRANDON WHITE

It was a great camp, (I’m) glad that Commerce allowed us to use their place and their coaches for teaching us up and working with all of us.

#2 When you got another offer, and then two more, how did it feel?
BRANDON WHITE
It felt really good able to go out and compete and leave from the camp with the 3 offers, which is a really good feeling!

#3 What did you feel you needed to work on before the camp? And did you succeed in trying to work on what you identified?
BRANDON WHITE
My focus going into the camp was to work on my routes mainly and finishing, which I felt like I made that happen and accomplished that goal.

#4 When you head to a satellite camp like that one, what do you have to do to stick out like that?
BRANDON WHITE
Just going out and competing. I never worry about what everyone else is doing I just go out and try to accomplish my goal and work extremely hard while doing it!

#5 Big rest of the Summer coming up before your Senior Season for the Tascoa Rebels.. Now that you’re probably going both ways, what will you work on the rest of the summer to come back better than last year?
BRANDON WHITE
My plan is to focus on DB (Defensive Back) , and go out and make plays at the DB position and win games .. We have the team to make it happen so as a team we will work harder than any other team and it will all soon to pay off !
Be on the lookout for more offers for Brandon as the Summer goes along. There were also more campers from the 806 out on the trail like Monterey’s starting quarterback, Coreon Bailey!

Monterey’s Coreon Bailey with Texas Tech Head Coach, Kliff Kingsbury
The #1 Ranked prospect in West Texas, Trevor Roberson was also at Texas Tech for camp, and he brought his entire team!
Our #2 Ranked Prospect in West Texas, King Doerue, was on an official visit to the Minnesota Gophers this weekend!
Our next camp update will have a lot more offers and action!
