HERE ARE TEN PLAYERS THAT WILL BE HOUSEHOLD NAMES NEXT SEASON IN 806 FOOTBALL…

The 806 has some great players that we have already heard about, some of those players have taken off nationally as well. But what about the Diamonds in the rough? What about those hidden gems that end up being household names after the season tis over? I got you guys covered. Here are ten players that will have major impacts on their teams next season that you may not have heard much about.

#1 TAYTEM THETFORD- POST ANTELOPES:

Thetford will be one of the few players that come back for Post after having over 20 Seniors graduate. In Pittman’s offense, he will be the man! He has a better arm that some previous quarterbacks at Post and that should open the offense even more for the Antelopes.

#2 JAY’LON DOBBINS- ESTACADO MATADORS

Jay’lon has a dart of an arm and is also very shifty. Standing in at 6’2″ and 215 pounds, he already has a pro build. I got a feeling he will play like a pro too.

#3 CHARLIE ROBINSON- CORONADO MUSTANGS

Charlie really came on at the end of the season including some big time plays in Coronado’s huge win over Colleyvillle Heritage. I really do think he is a Division One player and will be sought after heavily during this season. He is a class of 2021 prospect, but will have multiple offers before his 2020 season.

#4 COREON BAILEY-MONTEREY PLAINSMEN

Everybody knows Coach Hutch’s offenses do spectacular with a dual-threat quarterback. We’ll he has one now with Bailey. He has a strong build and arm, and is very fast! Don’t be surprised if Monterey gets BETTER this season with Coreon at the helm of this offense.

#5 TREYSON DILWORTH- PALO DURO DONS

Very quick feet, and he himself is also quick after he ran a 4.35 40-yard clocking at the Panhandle Showcase. He should get some more touches this season and if he gets some open lanes, he’ll take it to the house!

#6 SKYLER NEWSOME- FRENSHIP TIGERS

Skylar is mostly known for basketball, but he is playing football this season and he looks like a DI Wide Receiver out there! Great hands and is a big-body receiver. He should have a breakout season for the Tigers!

#7 DILLON WRIGHT- SHAMROCK IRISH

My goodness, did he make an impression on me! He absolutely dominated at the Panhandle Showcase and was slinging guards left and right during one-on-ones. Very fast motor!

#8 EVEREST HODGES- CORONADO MUSTANGS

Mr. Everest comes in from the Rio Grande area and he comes with a dangerous attitude on the line and looks like a next-level player. He will be a valued addition to the #StangGang unit. This man is serious!

#9 CORBIN LANGHAM- AMARILLO SANDIES

Corbin has been showing out this season and really getting himself out there at the Linebacker position. In Coach Dunnam’s aggressive defense he will be counted on to deliver for the Sandies. Folks, believe me he will!

#10 CADEN BRITT- FLOYDADA WHIRLWINDS

He stands at 6’6″ and runs a 4.8 40.. Caden has the measurables to really make a difference for the Whirlwinds this fall and if he shows out like I think he can, he’ll get some offers as well! Plenty of upside!!
